A bit earlier than anyone expected, this Wednesday is love parade night in Sarajevo. The largest electronic music festival in Bosnia and Herzegovina booms the hard beats for masses of techno and tech-house lovers arriving from all sides of the country.
Fourth Futura festival with mega media promotion brings as much as 10 DJs and two live-acts on two floors: techno and house.
Done in the collaboration with Berlin's club and label WMF massive, Futura 2001, for security reasons, the festival will be held in 'Skenderija City Hall' which, actually is not a city hall but a complex of halls in Sarajevo city center.

Tradition not betrayed
This year's line-up surprised music fans, including myself. Out of 10 DJ on two floors, 5 already appeared on previous Futura festivals, some even a few times.
Techno floor:
1. Ben E Clock (WMF)
2. Jay Denham (Disko B)
3. Electric Indigo (Disko B) already appeared on Futura twice
4. Miss Kittin (Gigolo)
House floor:
1. Highfish&Diringer (WMF) - Berlin's notorious naughty boy Highfish rocked last two Futuras
2. Elbee Bad (Gigolo) - legendary house master has been on Futura last year
3. Tschamba Fii - FM4's own superhero did last Futura as well
4. Michelle Grinser - the half of Munich machine's Dakar&Grinser - third appearance
5. Manuela Krause (WMF)
Adi Sarajlic, festival head in the interview at RADIO3 said that their choice for multiple appearance by some of the DJs came from the fact that those people did magnificent jobs at previous festival editions and deserved their come-back.

Around 2:30 I visited the square in from of Skenderija complex to check out Futura festival.
All photos were taken from outside of Futura area and all people I have met and spoke with were happy and said that they had a good time rockin'...
However, the realy party was inside.
