Den Albumtitel versteht man wohl besonders gut, wenn Mike Skinner einem erklärt, was heute noch so vor ihn liegt. Nämlich ein stundenlanger Interview-Marathon und dann the fun part, das Konzert im Rahmen der Tribe Vibes Party im Wiener WUK.
Aber Mike schaukelt das schon. Der Mann ist nicht nur einer der lyrisch begabtesten MCs der im Moment so unterwegs ist, er ist auch Geschäftsmann. Nicht nur einmal hat er eine Frage mit der Einleitung "speaking from an AR's perspective" beantwortet.

The Hardest Way to make an easy living, is it the post money, the dealing with fame album?
Yeah it would suppose it is, but it is as honest as the others.
Would you say that more money is more problems?
No, there is always problems but I think on the whole it is less problems.
Is honesty for you an important quality or is there a point where you want to keep things private, where you want to protect yourself?
To me the point is to make good music and in my case honesty is my strongest strength.
What qualities do you look for in a MC, when you want to sign somebody to your label the Beats?
Again honesty and an opinion. That's probably my two important factors with rappers and myself.
What about irony and humor?
Humor is at the center it runs all the way through British culture. So even if you hear a supposedly serious British song it's got supposedly a funny edge to it.
You sold quite a few records, did the yellow press ever come at you?
Yeah I had my funny encounters with the press over the last few years but the bottom line for me is that the music side is going well is respected. People can handle a certain amount of celebrity as long as they fell you deserve it.
Don't you think that the western world is run by a desire for fame and misbehaviour?
We are not allowed to misbehave in our own lives so we live through others that misbehave. It's fascinating. Everything from crime to crime drugs and sex scandals is interesting cause we can't do it ourselves.
