"No War On Iraq" is the theme of an anti-war march on Washington D.C. taking place Saturday, January 18th. The people's movement to stop the war is growing in strength and is global. From January 18th through to and including February 15th there will be mass protests and demonstrations across the United States, in most European capitals and throughout the Middle East and parts of Asia.
Saturday's march on Washington, however, will be the one the Bush White House watches to guage the mood of the American people. Universities from coast to coast say they'll be bussing in tens of thousands of students to the nation's capital. A hundred thousand or more pro-peace activists would send a strong signal and remind politicians of the days of anti-Vietnam protests when hundfreds of thousands of people regularly took to the streets all around the world....helping to bring teh war to an end.

Im Jänner 2000, im Jahr nach der Veröffentlichung seines Kassenschlagers "Play" (wir erinnern uns: "Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad", "Natural Blues", "Porcelain"), erklomm der schüchterne Veganer aus New York City samt Band die Open-Air Bühne der Wiener Arena, um FM4 mit einem denkwürdigen Konzert zum fünften Geburtstag zu gratulieren. Seitdem hat der "Superstar next door" seine Pflicht erfüllt und 2002 ein weiteres erfolgreiches Album ("18") abgeliefert und in der Kurhalle zu Oberlaa konzertiert. Seine Premiere im FM4-Spielzimmer gibt er nun am Samstag um Mitternacht.
