Das irische Oxegen Festival war bisher Musikfans bekannt unter dem Namen Witness Festival. An Qualität hat das Festival jedenfalls nichts eingebüßt, trotz Namensänderung. Die in Schottland ansässige Gitarrenpopband Snow Patrol stammt ursprünglich aus Nordirland, veröffentlichte schon ein paar Alben, aber 2004 war das Jahr, das dieser britischen Band mit dem wunderbar melancholischen Sound ein größeres Publikum bescherte. Die zweite Band in diesem 'Live-Doppelpack', die aus Manchester kommenden Elbow, steht in Sachen packender Melancholie ihren britischen Kollegen Snow Patrol in nichts nach oder ist sogar noch eindringlicher und fesselnder, nicht nur auf CD, sondern auch live.
