The DONAU-Auswärts-Spiel on FM4 Dogs Bollocks
With the DJs Plattenspieler, Hans Staudinger & Nadine Sturm.
The Donau Bar in the 7th district (Karl-Schweigerhofer Gasse 10) is one of the oldest, still existant scene bars in Vienna. Formerly a synagogue it was made into that what we know now, in 1985.
Many DJs started their careers in the Donau and today many DJs are still starting up their careers in this colourful, smokey Bar in the 7th district. Much loved by students, local residents and people out looking for that last beer as other bars empty and close, the Donau is having a renaissance.
New slideshow visuals, new DJs and new decoration have made the Donau Bar one of the geheimtips of the last 18 months. From wednesday through to saturday the place is packed full of lively people, nodding heads and tapping toes to electronic beats. Wednesday, thursday and friday are run by the same resident DJs every week.
And these residents are the focus of this months Dog's Bollocks.

DJ Plattenspieler alias Michael Koch from Schwabenland,Germany.He refused to tell me his age,where he really lives and what he wants out of life....Ok,I forgot to ask him cos we were to busy drinking Beer,but he did an excellent selection of minimal tunes
