Team - mit Rufzeichen nach dem Wort "go" - dürfen nicht verwechselt werden mit einer anderen Band namens Go Team, die kein Rufzeichen nach dem "go" hatte. Das Go Team ohne Rufzeichen war in den 80er Jahren die Indie-Rock Band von Kurt Cobains ex-Freundin Tobi Vail und dem Beat Happening Mastermind Calvin Johnson. Also eine Washington State Band, die das britische Go! Team beeinflusst hat.
