With the launch of the Da Vince Code this week in Cannes, this week's Reality Check looks at the real life organisation, Opus Dei. After protesting loudly at the way it was portrayed in the book, this formerly secretive group is turning the table and using the interest generated by the film to put its own message forward. But is that the real Opus Dei? Reality Check will be talking to Opus Dei members past and present, those that love it and those that are critical - as well as the man who has researched the group and it's history as thoroughly as anyone in the world, John Allen. We'll also be looking at some of the fact and fiction around the story that upset not just Opus Dei, but most of the Catholic Church - Jesus and Mary Magdalene. [more]

BMX Austria King of Dirt
BMX, eine Sportart, die sich durch zu kleine Fahrräder und zu großen Übermut der FahrerInnen auszeichnet, hat in Linz eine lange Tradition. Dieses Wochenende wird dort zum sechsten Mal in Folge der 'Austrian King of Dirt' vergeben. Im Dirtpark Pleschingersee werden sich die Fahrerinnen und Fahrer auch diesmal wieder zu spektakulären Tricks pushen. Und danach: Markante Handlungen on stage. (Michael Schmid)
